Quick Start Guide
Desktop (Mac, PC, Linux)
  1. Create an account at app.blackmount.ai
  2. Install the browser extension from the Chrome Web Store (Chrome, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera), Microsoft Edge Add-ons, or Firefox Add-ons
  3. Click Sign In in the extension popup — you'll be redirected to sign in with the same account you used on the web app
iPhone & iPad
  1. Download the Blackmount app from the App Store
  2. Sign in with Apple or Google
  3. Enable the Safari extension: Settings → Safari → Extensions → Blackmount
  4. Your sessions, bookmarks, and AI chats sync automatically across all devices

Save Sessions

Capture all open tabs in one click:

  1. Click extension icon
  2. Click "Save Session"
  3. Name your session (optional)

Restore Sessions

Reopen saved tabs instantly:

  1. Click extension icon
  2. Search for session by name
  3. Click "Restore" to open in new window
Quick Bookmarks

Save individual tabs to projects:

  1. Click extension icon
  2. Click "Quick Bookmark"
  3. Select destination project

iOS App
Save Safari Tabs
  1. Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) in the address bar
  3. Tap Blackmount → "Save All Tabs"
  4. Your session syncs to all your devices
Voice Notes
  1. Open Blackmount → Voice tab
  2. Tap the record button
  3. When you stop, your voice is transcribed automatically on your iPhone
  4. Tap "Generate Summary" for an AI-powered summary (requires one-time consent)
Share from Any App
  1. In any app (Safari, Twitter, Reddit, etc.), tap Share
  2. Select Blackmount from the share sheet
  3. Choose a project to save into
  4. The link is saved and synced across devices
AI Chats

The AI Chats tab shows conversations captured from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini by your desktop browser extension. It is read-only on iOS — tap "Open in ChatGPT" to continue a conversation in the original app.

No. Transcription runs entirely on your iPhone using Apple's speech recognition. Your audio never leaves your device.

Groq, Inc. is the AI provider that powers optional text summaries. When you tap "Generate Summary," the app asks for your permission before sending any text to Groq. You can disable this anytime in Settings → AI & Privacy. Voice audio is never sent to Groq.

AI chats are captured by the desktop browser extension. Install the Blackmount extension on Chrome, Edge, or Firefox, visit ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini, and the extension will save your conversations. They'll appear on iOS after syncing.

No, saved sessions are kept indefinitely unless you delete them. You can organize and manage all your sessions from the web app.
